In House LaboratoryWe have a laboratory on the hospital premises where we are able to run Complete Blood Counts (to check for signs of infection, anemia, or allergies), Blood Chemistry testing (to check for problems in the liver, kidney, pancreas, or other organs), urine analyses, bacterial cultures and sensitivity tests, cytology (study of cells in tissue samples ),and fecal testing for parasites. Being able to run these tests "in-house" saves us a lot of time in emergency situations and where it is important to start treatment of a condition right away. |
