Our building was constructed in 1900 to house furnaces for the Nelson City gas supply. When the City converted to natural gas in 1950 the building was sold and went through a variety of different uses before becoming the home of the Selkirk Veterinary hospital in 1992.Since then we and our clients have been enjoying its natural field-stone ambience. We often get comments from our clients on the original open stone walls in the reception area. Come and take a look for yourself!
